I missed it...

I really missed that one piece of trim so I put it back, and moved it up a bit. Now I am finally happy! You like?

New set in context, plus the pool house units, really just the backs of the Man's apartment.
I found these really tough!

Partly because they cannot have any depth to them to fit where they need to for the bulk of the show.
The doors are practical and will open onstage like french doors, also bear in mind that they are reversed from the original positions.

So right is left and left is right.
Right?

Confused? call me to discuss!

Compass

Less Plaid.

Floor treatment

Black and 3 grey checkerboard floor:
The circles all increase in 2' increments.
Though I just spoke with Dan, apparently the first show has almost exactly the same floor?

Tottendale Manor in black and white

Attempt at colour [or lack thereof] number two:

Tottendale Manor

Attempt at colour number one:
I am playing with echoing the trim from Man in Chair's apartment and adding wainscoting, gives us a bit more British country house feel I think.
Also please note the change to the front door.

Cake/Plane

Ok, I love my job. How often to you get design a giant pop-out-of-it wedding cake that turns into a plane!

The basic cake:

from the back:
I still need to model the inside, it will hardly be this hollow...

The same cake, laid on its back and opened with the wings folded out:

Add two additional props.
Pun intended.

And presto!

You have a plane!
